January 25th is Burns Night. A celebration of the life and poetry of Robert (Rabbie) Burns. I quite like this 'doctored' portrait of him wearing shades.
I feel he is particularly suitable for this blog due to his coining the phrase 'The best laid schemes of mice and men'. I thought an image a day was going to be simple and easy to produce, how wrong I was, it has been more and more difficult thinking of an image of the day that is different from the others!
