Today was the first time, I think, this winter that we have seen ice on the ground. Unfortunately it meant that Poole parkrun was cancelled this morning for safety reasons, although that wasn't going to stop a couple of 100 people jogging the course anyway, "seeing as how they were up, and in running gear, and in the park" (such is the mentality of most parkrunners!)
However, the icy conditions didn't spoil a sunny cold heath walk afterwards. Daisy certainly was enjoying this strange phenomenon, and had to pick up a piece from nearly every puddle we passed, inbetween skidding around on them.
