Day 119 - Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I have some lovely presents to open :-)

Day 115 - Sub 5 hours!

London Marathon Time - 04:59:29
finally a number 4 at the front.

Day 114 - the South Bank show

After settling into my hotel near the London Eye, I went along the South Bank to meet up with Eve & Graham, and Steve who were attending the marathon too.
When I walked back, there were many shakespeare plays on screens showing and a lot going on. This was my favourite picture of the walk back. An old fashioned carousel and its light show.

Day 112 - Happy birthday Hazel

Its my youngest daughter Hazel's birthday today. She is the crazy one. Couldnt find a pic of her when young at the moment but here is a picture from her wedding morning.

Day 110 - stop mucking about

Are we getting in the car or what?

Day 109 - 80 years of triangulation

Today is the 80th birthday of the humble trig (or triangulation) pillar, used by OS map surveyers to map Britain since April 1936.
I couldnt find one locally, there was one on Canford Heath but apparantly it has been destroyed so I found a picture of the highest one I have ever been to (and presumably the highest in the UK), on the summit of Ben Nevis
